Committees

We have the following committees comprised of volunteers and directors, if you would like to volunteers please contact us at info@FOAJ.ca.

 2010 Conference

Mandate: This is a working committee. The committee meets and brings recommendations to the Board for ratification on the date, location, agenda items, and other conference activities for the Annual Conference of the Society. Committee members take responsibility for conference tasks such as recruiting and communicating with speakers and moderators, development of marketing for conference, development of the conference program and helping with conference day organization.  The committee meets monthly starting in July for the upcoming conference.

 Composition:

Audit/Finance

 

Mandate: Oversee investments, develop an investment policy, and oversee the annual audit.

Composition: Gerry Baron, Director

                        Al Evans, Treasurer

   

Nominating

 

Mandate:  To find candidates for the position of Director for the Annual General Meeting.

Composition:  Gerry Baron, President

                         Deborah Howes 

                         Other members will be added in the January or April 2009 Board Meeting.
